Processes, underwrites and manages loan submissions received from sales force. Approves loans to assigned limits. Communicates loan decisions to brokers and sales team. Manages data entry, closing and funding functions to maintain service standards (supported by processor and funder teams). Responsible for completeness, accuracy and saleability of the funded loan package. Maintains current job knowledge of underwriting and processing policy and procedures. Assists in the management of the closing agent and appraiser networks. Manages the active pipeline.

Requirements:

• Two year college degree. 4 years experience in comparable environment (mortgage banking, consumer finance, etc.) in either sales of underwriting.
• Demonstrated ability in either sales, processing or underwriting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
